We are committed to ensuring our digital experiences are accessible to everyone.

Effective Date: February 2026

OUR COMMITMENT

Royal Gorge Epic Adventures is committed to ensuring that our website (https://royalgorgeepicadventures.com) is accessible to people with disabilities. We strive to meet or exceed the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and continuously improve the user experience for everyone.

MEASURES WE TAKE

  • Skip-to-content navigation link for keyboard users
  • Semantic HTML structure (headings, landmarks, lists, buttons)
  • Descriptive alt text on all meaningful images
  • ARIA labels on interactive elements (menus, buttons, dialogs)
  • Keyboard-navigable menus, forms, and interactive components
  • Visible focus indicators on all focusable elements
  • Sufficient color contrast ratios (4.5:1 minimum for normal text)
  • Respect for prefers-reduced-motion user preference
  • Touch targets sized at least 44x44 pixels on mobile
  • Responsive design from 320px to 2560px viewport widths
  • Cookie consent dialog with proper ARIA roles and focus management

STANDARDS

We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

KNOWN LIMITATIONS

Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible:

  • Some third-party content (embedded maps, booking widgets) may not meet all accessibility standards
  • PDF documents may not be fully screen reader compatible
  • Some interactive features (magazine viewer, trip builder) may have limited accessibility

We are actively working to address these limitations.
