HOW IT STARTED
Royal Gorge Epic Adventures started with a simple belief: the Royal Gorge is one of the most spectacular places on Earth, and everyone should have the chance to experience it. What began as a single rafting operation on the Arkansas River has grown into a family of six adventure brands — all rooted in the same love for this incredible place.
Over two decades, we've grown from putting rafts on the water to building one of Colorado's most complete adventure destinations. We added zipline courses soaring above the canyon, helicopter tours offering aerial perspectives few ever see, riverside lodging where guests fall asleep to the sound of the Arkansas, and two restaurants that have become destinations in their own right.

Today, Royal Gorge Epic Adventures is a family of six brands — each with its own identity, but all sharing the same mission: to create unforgettable experiences in one of Colorado's most spectacular settings. Our rafting guides, zipline instructors, helicopter pilots, hospitality team, and chefs work together to deliver adventures you'll talk about for years.
We're proud to call Canon City and the Royal Gorge home. We employ over 100 people during peak season, support local conservation, and welcome tens of thousands of visitors from around the world each year. Every trip, every flight, every meal is an invitation to experience the raw beauty of Colorado — and to leave with stories you'll tell for a lifetime.
